Disaster Buffet at Hartz

We went to hunt for the buffet at Times Square. After round and round of hunting, it was closed down. I was disappointed as I will be missing the food there. I love the food, a decade ago. Then the last time I had it, was like 3 years ago.

Guess, our food hunting turned to be a disaster as the standard dropped to the level 0 in short period of time. No wonder Times Square branch closed down.

This is the reason why?
#1

The fried chicken was so dry and over-fried! Seriously, from the picture I took by mobile phone it may looked tasty. Wait until you taste that with your tongue! Unless you are a rubbish-eater, I would say that this is not edible at all. Plus, it's fa*rking salty too! Madness.

After the 1st bite...
After 2nd bite...

GIVE UP TOTALLY!

#2

For this portion of food I took, thanked God it's still decent to eat. Well, after this round, I could guaranteed you won't go and refill your plate for 2nd round again. Trust! It were not prepared properly as you can still taste the detergent smell from it! OMG! Thanked God I'm still alive to write this post. Tasted weird yet I'm still alive with NO food poisoning.

This one. No comment. Still edible. But after few rounds before I took this, I've lost my appetite.

#4

Soup was served cold and it tasted like plastic or cardboard when I took a sip from it. I think the cook or any idiotic kitchen helper forgot that not to add TOO MUCH water into the ingredients. As you just imagine that when I scooped with my spoon, I think I am drinking the instant Campbell Soup packet instead.

For all the complains and whining from me, my guy still could wallop this portion of shi*tty food. Salute salute! Maybe he don't want to waste $$$ that he think it's not worth to spend on.

Yes, FINALLY! It's dessert time. Luckily for us, the ice-cream still edible and you will feel happy eating it.

Highlight of the Night
All drinks are not available. Only Coke and nothing else! On top of that, out of 3 Coke, only 1 is working!
My advice: Don't go!

Hartz used to be a nice and interesting place to go but now it has basically gone down the dumps... once a glorious outlet now is just a shadow if its former self buck up or shut down is what I will say......

Verdict:
Food: 2/5
Service: 1.5/5
Price: 2/5

Lunch at Sushi King, KJ

I found these pictures in the folders and realized it have been there for quite sometimes. I realized that when the hairstyle I've got during that time. Man, this is way too long.

Anyway, I have to say, it's a simple yet good lunch. I'm quite skeptic towards Sushi King. The place famous for its bad food! Well, there is a new menu on the table, so I just go ahead and try it.

Japanese curry also known to be non-spicy food. It taste sweet instead of spicy. I choose beef as it always been a better combination with curry if compared to chicken. It comes with a miso soup & rice.

Miso soup from Sushi King has never been improved since I visited this place years ago. They better bulk up,man! Omelette and beef taste satisfactory this time. Ok la,boleh la..

Service: 3/10
Food Quality: 5/10

To my Muslim friends, sorry..This is a non-halal post

After a day at work, it's time to unwind. Normally for me, it's about food and beer! This time I went to The Curve for a pork knuckle and a pint of Hoogarden. On top of that, catching up with positive people end my tiring with a good vibe. Bavarian Bierhaus, the place that chosen to be the place.

Of course, the meal always started with a light appetizer. This time we chose salads with lots of cheese. Sound fatty, yet it made me calm down after hours being trapped in the jam that left me anxious and stressful.

There it is~ The main course for the night. PORK KNUCKLE! I have to say, it is quite similar to the "Siew Bak" that we have at coffee shop. But this time, it's prepared with the Western way. Now, it explained why the Germans are big! Check out the food they love, man!

Sausages! Lots of it! You can have it in many different ways. All in many sizes. Just like man d*ck in different sizes too. For the sausages here, each in different size and with different taste. I wonder this concept could apply on men's....oh,never mind.
Focus! Focus!

Venue: Ambiance is very relaxing
Location: The Curve, Ground Floor
Price: Medium High
Verdict: 4/5

Food Mania from the Middle East & Cheap Cheap Option

It was a fasting month that time and my guy just wanted to try out this place at Jalan Ampang. As I arrived there, the road was filled with a row of Middle Eastern food outlet, aka M.D Mamak, known to be expensive!

Well, I went for the ShiSha and not for the food. My guy ordered food anyway as I was tagged along. I wanna to see how good is the food. Sorry folks, my tongue is seasoned with Malaysian taste for ages. Oh Well, let's try the food anyway, DAMN It!

When I went it there, I saw this sign at the door! It's very disturbing! Looks who's being racist here! As other customers eating their food outside without air-con with mad-Expensive F'rking Food.Guess, next round I come here I should wear like a "ninja" and I might can go it. If you look carefully, you can see a curtain inside at each section. So that these families can dine in peace.

Oh well, The ShiSha!
That's the reason I came here, remember?
I have to say, the smoke is thick and the taste is good. BUT,it get harsh very fast and the service sucks! It took me very loooooong time to get the fella to change the charcoal for me. Damn it! I think I'll stick with the normal outlet I go always. Damn it!

Yupe! I'm enjoying it. But the happiness doesn't last long, babe!

Here we go, the food. As you can see here, my guy ordered the lamb minced meat with rice, which is prepared the Lebanese way. The taste very thick and the soup was properly stewed. The vegetables mixed into it and it's kinda watery when comes to gravy.

The taste: Excellent
Downside: Mad-Mahal! >RM12.00
What do I expect anyway. It's lamb!

This is the view where you can mixed with rice together with the lamb minced meat.

Where you go! The presentation of the served food before we ravished it like mad! We were hungry then.

Part #2
As you can here, after a heartbreak spending unworthy food at Jalan Ampang with the Mad-Expensive and racist environment restaurant crap, we decided to mend our broken wallet and heart to the PJ Old Town cheapest Mix Food you can find!

Junsern brought me there as he's been eating there for the cheap mix food since his school days!
Mad Mad Mad! I also kena the cheap-skate syndrome.

Here you go:
Mine
Vegetables-large portion
1 bull-eye egg
1 Fried Chicken Drumsticks (it's f*rking delicious than KFC! Mind you!)
1 Meat Spring Rolls
with reduced rice portion, as initially they are going to FLOOD the plate with it.

Total Price: RM3.00 only

Well, I took this blardy picture when he almost ravished it clean. Ah, bad timing! Silly me...
Junsern's
1 Fried Chicken Drumsticks
Ham Choy with meat, in a generous amount. The portion almost Flood the whole plate
Vegetables
Full portion of rice.

Taiwan Street, Tropicana City Mall, PJ

Had a movie session at Tropicana City at Tuesday afternoon. G.I Joe was a good one though & quite impressed with the explosive scenes. Snake Eyes is cool as he is. I bet most people are targeting Sienna Miller's tight butt with her leather outfit. Even though we ate hot dog,Chipster, Corn in Cup & Coke, I am still hungry after 2 hours.

After walking around the shopping mall, we headed to Taiwan Street. Price is reasonable with friendly waiters welcoming you entering the outlet, we are looking forward for a good experience with this one. The place is clean & equipped with Wi-Fi too. As a Wi-Fi addict myself, it's definitely a plus point.

It has been a long time since we have lunch together during weekdays. It's a great chance for both of us too. He took leave & I'm having a short breaks as well. Lunch & movies during lazy afternoon are definitely a productive quality time for us.

This is the recommended Green Pearl Tea. It's a quite ordinary drinks at most cafe & restaurants. For this one, it tasted fresh & light for afternoon lunch. Its milky taste very addictive especially for those who has sweet tooth. The pearl very chewy & tasty as well.

OR A glass of Mocha Pearl Tea too!

My food choice of the day is SiChuan Seafood Mini Steamboat.

A Bowl of beef Noodles

The Jewel Box Toast is a very good choice too.

Another bowl of soup. This time we chose dumpling soup.

Closer view.

Last but not least, the Taiwanese Sausage

Do feel free to try it out.

Location: Tropicana City Mall, Petaling Jaya.

1st Floor Near GSC Cinema.
